Geoff is a linguist (French and German) and a four-year trained English as a Second Language teacher with more than 30 years experience in the field of workplace language and literacy teaching.
Educated in England, Geoff migrated to Australia in 1984 after four years of ESL teaching in France and Greece. Since then, he has worked for the Adult Migrant Education Service (1984-87 and 1989-1993), Curtin University (1986-87), Central Institute of Technology (1993-96) and then as Director of Agenda Communication, his own training consultancy firm. He also had two years back in France (Rouen) from 1987-89, working for the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry Language School (CEPPIC) and the University of Upper Normandy.
