Next Workshop
This is a new series of ten 90-minute, after-school workshops designed to help correct some of the seriously inaccurate and confusing myths about English grammar that are still being innocently passed on by primary school teachers, often because they are embedded in commercially produced resources or free online materials.
Each workshop in the series explodes a different myth about English grammar, explaining where it came from, what’s incorrect / confusing / misleading / unhelpful about it, and why it is not a good idea to continue to teach it. Each time, a more effective teaching approach will be presented, together with practical, hands-on, learner-centred activities that you can put immediately into practice with your students.
