The Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Program was a federal government program that provided funds for workplace communication skills training for employees in Australian workplaces.
From 1996-2009, Agenda Communication delivered WELL programs across a broad range of workplaces and industries in Western Australia, custom-designing each program to suit the specific needs of the individual workplace and the training participants.
WELL Training
What do we do?
Our starting point is always to ask you, the company:
What are you trying to achieve?
We then work with you to analyse the links between your goals and your employees’ communication skills needs.
We carry out a workplace communication network analysis to ensure that the communication environment is as effective and efficient as it needs to be.
This is because, in our view:
“There is little point in spending time and money on improving your employees’ communication skills, if the environment in which they work doesn’t allow them to use those skills fully.”
Finally, we design, develop and deliver a customised communication skills training program to ensure training participants develop the communication skills they actually need for their work.
Overview
Sadly, with the axeing of this iconic, federally-funded program in the 2014 Budget, after 23 years of it doing enormous economic good across Australian Industry throughout the Keating, Howard, Rudd and Gillard eras, we are no longer able to offer this service at the 75% reduction of costs that the WELL Program used to provide.
If, however, you are still interested in benefitting from these services at full cost, please don't hesitate to contact us on 9330 8989 / 0412 893 897 for a free consultation.
